Official Sweepstakes Rules

1. Description of Sweepstakes. The Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association (the "Sponsor") is offering the "Grocery Giveaway Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") and will award prizes via a random selection of valid entrants. The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM January 1, 2008 Central Daylight Time, and ends December 31, 2008 at midnight Central Daylight Time, ("Promotion Period"). Within the overall Promotion Period, there are twelve (12) separate Sweepstakes Drawing Periods ("Drawing Periods") executed on the following schedule:

   Drawing Period Begins at 12:01 AM on the first of each month.
   Ends at midnight on the last day of each month.
   Drawing conducted on or about the first week of the following month.
   Winners will be notified upon being selected.
   January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.
   

   All entries received during a given Drawing Period are eligible for that Drawing Period only and will NOT be "rolled forward" for inclusion in the next and/or subsequent Drawing Periods.

2. How to Enter. No purchase necessary. Visit www.wisconsinpotatoes.com and by completing a short survey and providing your first name, last name and email address, you are automatically entered in the Sweepstakes for the Drawing Period in which you subscribed. There is a limit of one (1) original entry per person per household per month. By subscribing to the email service, entrants understand their entry information will be used by the Sponsor for subsequent marketing and communication efforts.

3. Prizes. One (1) $250 Grocery Gift Card from the grocery retailer of the winner's choice as provided on the entry form. Odds of winning depend upon the number of valid entries received in each Drawing Period. There are twelve (12) prizes available in 2008 with a total approximate retail value of all prizes of $3,000.

4. General. Winners will be notified by email to confirm acceptance of the prize and to verify the mailing address for the prize. Potential winner must respond within five (5) days of first attempted notification or at Sponsor's discretion he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. By accepting a prize, a winner agrees to allow use of his or her name, voice, statements and/or photo for advertising this or similar promotions without limitation and without compensation, except where prohibited. ALL TAXES ON PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable and there are no cash substitutions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decision of the Sponsor as final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction, and virus distribution or by a human error which may occur in the process of recording on-line entries at the web page. Sponsor is not responsible for any damage to an entrant's computer hardware or software that may occur as a result of entrant participating in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an entrant to interfere with the operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an on line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the email account. If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical or other difficulties outside of Sponsor's control compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Sweepstakes and in such event to select winners through a random drawing from among all valid entries received before such termination. All entries are the property of the Sponsor.

5. Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, WPVGA members, and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association, its affiliated boards, committees, and advertising agency, and any other company involved in the design, execution or production of this Sweepstakes are not eligible.

6. Release. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU RELEASE AND HOLD SPONSORS AND THE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, SHAREHOLDERS, AND MARKETING AGENTS HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF, OR DEFECTS IN, A PRIZE, OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE, PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, AND/OR DEFAMATION.

7. Winners List Request. Confirmed winners will be announced at approximately three (3) weeks following the end of each Drawing Period. To obtain a list of all winners, send a self addressed, stamped envelope to: Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association, Inc. Sweepstakes Winners List Request, P.O. Box 327, Antigo, Wisconsin, 54409-0327 postmarked by December 31, 2008.
